Important Coverage Information:
Employer Extended Health Plans / Benefits
Glover Physiotherapy services are covered by most health care insurance plans. However, if you are claiming through your extended healthcare carrier or work plan, we do require you to pay for your therapy sessions up front. You are then given a receipt for each treatment that is paid for which you can submit to your extended health care provider.
Motor Vehicle Accident Coverage
We bill directly to ICBC for you.
If you have been in a motor vehicle accident, report your injuries to ICBC as soon as possible. ICBC only covers a partial amount of the visits, you will be asked to co-pay the difference at each visit. If you have extended health care benefits, it is possible to claim the difference back.
Work Safe BC (WCB) – Billed Directly
We bill directly to WCB for you.
WCB provides physiotherapy coverage for workers injured on the job. We bill WCB directly for treatments provided, complete necessary forms, progress reports, treatment extensions and communicate with adjudicators, your workplace and other healthcare professionals involved in your treatment. Our team can help you navigate through any WCB paperwork that you may be unsure about.
Blue Cross Billing
Glover Physiotherapy will bill all Blue Cross plans directly for physiotherapy, chiropractor, psychology, naturopath, dietitian and massage therapy treatments. Examples of employees with Blue Cross insurance:

Marilyn Powell – BSc. PT, MCPA
Marilyn has a strong interest in sports medicine with certification from the Canadian Coaching Association, and is a certified CanTRA instructor in the practice of Hippotherapy. She is a physiotherapist in our Langley location since 1994. Marilyn has varied work experience in hospitals, private practice, and is also an active sports coach.
Rita Mak, BCom, MSc(OT), CHT Candidate
RIta graduated from McMaster University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2007 and from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2004. In 2011, her passion and interest in hand therapy brought her to Philadelphia, PA where she completed a 6 month hand therapy fellowship at The Philadelphia Hand Center. In Philadelphia, she was invited to be a guest instructor for the Occupational Therapy class at Thomas Jefferson University. Prior to completing her hand therapy fellowship, Rita was working in an outpatient arthritis management program. She has experience in custom splint fabrication and is working towards Hand Therapy Certification. She speaks fluent English, Cantonese and conversational French.
Arie Schuurman – RPT, M.T., M.C.P.A
Graduated from Utrecht, Eindhoven - Netherlands practicing Manual Therapy and Physiotherapy. Specialist in sports medicine and whiplash associated disorders. Has 30 years experience and is seeing patients at Glover Physiotherapy and Hand Clinic.
Rosanne Molnar - BSc. Kin., MSc. PT
Rosanne is a University of Alberta graduate and treats patients at the Glover Physiotherapy and Hand Clinic. Her main interest is in orthopaedic rehabilitation, occupational Health, and motor vehicle injuries.
Seanalee Fee - PTA
Seanalee is newly graduated from CDI College where she received her Diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy Assisting. She is currently working at Glover Physiotherapy in Langley as a Physiotherapy Assistant since October 2008.
Barbara Duff, BSR(PT), CHT
Barbara graduated from the University Of British Columbia School Of Rehabilitation Medicine with a Bachelors of Science in Rehabilitation (BSR) - a combined degree in both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. In 1990 she began working exclusively with clients with acute/traumatic hand injuries at the Leslie R. Peterson Rehabilitation Centre located at the WCB in Richmond and achieved her Hand Therapy Certification designation in 1995. Since this time she has worked as a Hand Therapist in various private clinic and hospital settings. In addition to her clinical work she has been involved in teaching the assessment and management of hand injuries to physiotherapy students and community therapists. She is the Senior Hand Therapist with pt Health and is responsible for the staffing, promotion and development of the Hand Therapy Program within their clinics.
Lisa Stewart, BScOT, CHT, BPE
Lisa graduated from the University Of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1997 and from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education in 1990. She has worked in a variety of settings in both the private and public sectors. Her experience includes working as a team member with clients, therapists, plastic surgeons and rheumatologists to provide comprehensive care to her clients. She has extensive experience in splinting, wound care and case management. She was successful in becoming a Certified Hand Therapist in 2009 and has been working in our Glover Hand Therapy Clinic providing hand therapy and Return To Work Services since January 2010.
