Important Coverage Information:
Employer Extended Health Plans / Benefits
We bill directly to your extended health plan.
EP Physiotherapy services are covered by most health care insurance plans. Unlike other clinics, if you are claiming through your extended health care carrier or work plan, we do not require you to pay for your therapy sessions up front. Instead, we bill your insurance company on your behalf, so there is minimal out of pocket fees.
Motor Vehicle Accident Coverage
We bill directly to your insurance company for you.
If you have extended health care benefits that cover therapy, auto insurance companies in Nova Scotia require that your claim be placed through your extended health plan first. Any remaining balances for services are then covered by your auto accident insurance plan. On your first visit, you may be asked to provide information about your extend health plan.
If you do not have an extended health care benefits which covers therapy, your treatments may be billed directly through your auto accident insurance company.
Workers Compensation Board (WCB) – Billed Directly
We bill directly to WCB for you.
WCB provides physiotherapy coverage for workers injured on the job. We bill WCB directly for treatments provided, complete necessary forms, progress reports, treatment extensions and communicate with adjudicators, your workplace and other healthcare professionals involved in your treatment. Our team can help you navigate through any WCB paperwork that you may be unsure about.
Blue Cross Billing
EP Physiotherapy will bill all Blue Cross plans directly for physiotherapy, chiropractor, psychology, naturopath, dietitian and massage therapy treatments. Examples of employees with Blue Cross insurance:

Natasha Trudel, PT (BScKin, BScPT)
Natasha graduated from Dalhousie University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She went on to graduate from Dalhousie University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She began practising Physiotherapy in June of 2005 and has worked in private practice since that time. Natasha is a member of The Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA), The Orthopaedic Division of the CPA and is a member in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists. Natasha grew up in the community of Shearwater/Eastern Passage and currently resides in Lawrencetown. She is pleased to assist in the well-being of the members of the community, its DND personnel and their dependents. Natasha enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include all winter sports and golfing.

Kirk Moulaison
Kinesiology Graduate, University of New Brunswick. After graduating with a Kinesiology degree from UNB, Kirk spent 3 years in the Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition program from Mount Saint Vincent, to gain a nutrition background, before getting back to his exercise and sports science passion.
Kirk began working with pt Health in July 2012 as a Kinesiologist. He is enjoying being a part of the physiotherapy field, continuing to learn new skills and further his career.
Kirks interests besides exercise and sports science include bodybuilding and strength training, strongman competitions, bowling, and motion and video sensor-based technology games that get you moving more than just your thumbs.

Lindsay Fisher, BScNesc, MScOT Reg
In 2006, Lindsay received a Bachelor of Science with a major in Neuroscience from Dalhousie University. After a year of working as a rehab specialist in a program for disabled children in New Hampshire, Lindsay returned to Nova Scotia to pursue a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, which she completed in 2009.
After graduation, Lindsay moved to Calgary, Alberta where she practiced Occupational Therapy and Case Management within both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry programs—with a focus on individuals with schizophrenia and psychotic illness.
Lindsay joined the pt Health team in June, 2011 with her main focus in the areas of ergonomics, functional assessment and rehabilitation, return to work planning and job coaching.
Lindsay's home is Wellington, NS and is happy to be back home. In her spare time she enjoys working out, music, hiking, and any other activity involving the outdoors!

Nichole Murphy, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Graduate of Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. Member of Massage Therapists and Wholistic Practitioners' Association of the Maritimes (MTWPAM) . Post-graduate training in Cupping Massage. Nichole's hobbies include: reading, scrapbooking and card making.
