In response to COVID-19, pt Health is doing its part to help protect patients and our teams by modifying the delivery of services at our clinic. We remain open in select communities across Canada to treat patients requiring urgent care and to provide virtual care options.
For clinics that are providing in-person services, we have put in place active measures including enhanced hygiene practices, social distancing and pre-screening before anyone enters the clinic as per the Public Health Agency of Canada and continue to monitor federal and provincial colleges, to ensure our policies are aligned.

PhysiotherapistSpeaks: EnglishJenny has worked at ptHealth Royal Oak since 2013. Prior to this, Jenny completed her Masters degree from Glasgow Caledonian University and worked for the National Health Service in Scotland as a physiotherapist. She also provided physiotherapy for a premier division American Football Team and a rugby team during this time gaining an appreciation of many sports injuries. Since becoming a physiotherapist, Jenny has spent her career enhancing her knowledge and skills through postgraduate courses including Acupuncture (levels 1 & 2); Functional Dry Needling (levels 1 & 2); Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (levels 1, 2 & 3); Orthotics; Concussion Rehabilitation and Spinal Manipulation. Through treating musculoskeletal conditions, Jenny developed an interest in pelvic health and pursued several courses to become certified to treat pelvic health disorders such as incontinence, prolapse, pain with intercourse, diastasis recti and to educate and treat pregnant and postnatal clients. Jenny is passionate about providing excellent care to all of her patients and uses a whole body approach to treatment incorporating manual therapy; needling; functional exercise and education to empower patients to reach their treatment goals.
PhysiotherapistSpeaks: English, HindiMegha is an enthusiastic international grad in Bachelor of Physiotherapy from India, in 2010. She began her career as a physiotherapist serving for paramilitary force in India for almost five years. All of her experiences, cultivated her interest to explore more in the profession here in Canada and thrive to achieve her goals. Megha’s focus is unwaveringly on the needs of her patients. Her strength is setting reachable goals with the clients and providing the guidance to achieve them. She has found her best outcome results from treatment focused on education and exercise often augmented with Manual therapy. In her leisure time, you will most likely find her cooking, trying new recipes and dancing to the beats of music.
Physiotherapist - MScPT, BScKinSpeaks: EnglishChelsey graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Physiotherapy (2012) from Queen Margaret University (Edinburgh, Scotland) following a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (2009) from the University of Calgary. Chelsey in an experienced orthopedic manual therapist and thrives on helping patients reach their goals through restoring or optimising mobility and function. Chelsey also has a special interest in women's health and has completed specialised pelvic health physiotherapy courses for Urinary Incontinence, Pelvic Pain and Pregnancy. Other specialities include; Acupuncture, Functional Dry Needling®, Practical Paediatric Physiotherapy 0-6 months, Post-Concussion Syndrome rehabilitation, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy (Level 2), Mulligan Manual Therapy. Outside of clinic time she enjoys spending time with her family, running, yoga and leading a positive, balanced lifestyle!
Physiotherapist - PT, IMSSpeaks: EnglishKarim's commitment to his profession is includes being an active member as a health and wellness executive locally in Calgary within his community association along with Canadian Physiotherapy Private Practice Division - Communications Executive Clinical Instructor and National Board Examiner. Karim is a trusted physiotherapist that looks at the body as a functional unit and utilizes techniques that address your neuromuscular control, function and synergistic patterns. Even with his busy schedule and being a new father Karim does not sacrifice the well-being of his clients, his dedication to his patients is second to none! Physiotherapist - PTSpeaks: English, Hindi, PunjabAmar is passionate PT who believe in taking holistic approach for providing excellent care. He has taken many postgraduate courses to advance his knowledge and skills including biomedical dry needling, spinal manipulation, temporomandibular disorders, post concussion syndrome and vestibular rehabilitation. He has also completed chronic pain certification with University of Alberta to enhance his skills in supporting patients with complaint of chronic pain. His strength is spending time to listen to his patients and work together with patients.
Massage TherapistSpeaks: EnglishKristin has been a massage therapist for over 9 years, after graduating from Foothills College of Massage Therapy with honors. In addition to working at Advantage Health Royal Oak, Kristin teaches and supervises at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy. Kristin offers therapeutic, deep tissue, relaxation Swedish massage, prenatal massage as well as myofascial cupping. Kristin is dedicated to helping her clients achieve success in their recovery process!
ChiropractorSpeaks: English, Hindi, PunjabiDr. Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology & Genetics from the University of British Columbia in 2000. He continued on to achieve his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2003. He most recently completed both the Arthritis Society's Getting a Grip on Arthritis® osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis education program. Mike has been in practice since 2003 and has started up and managed multiple clinics. Currently, he collaborates with multiple specialties- physiotherapy, massage therapy, acupuncture/IMS, kinesiology, psychology, naturopathic medicine and personal trainers. His focus is always on improving his patient's function and performance by incorporating chiropractic adjustments, home exercise prescription and teaching self-managing techniques to his patients. When Dr. Mike is not at work, he can be found at home spending time with his family or exercising at the gym!!
ChiropractorSpeaks: EnglishDr. Greg is a graduate of Portland, Oregon’s Western States Chiropractic College and is a hands-on practitioner that employs traditional spinal adjusting with soft tissue techniques as well as lifestyle counseling. Dr. Greg believes that the three basic pillars to maintaining good health are exercise, nutrition and neural integrity. Dr. Greg has a special interest in the treatment of headaches and sports related injuries. Dr. Greg has been married for thirty five years and has two children and one grandchild; he is also an avid golfer.
Massage Therapist - RMTSpeaks: EnglishMaria is an enthusiastic and passionate therapist who takes a holistic approach to wellness, including body, mind and soul. Her treatments are focused in understanding the patient's problems, the cause of their concerns and using the effectiveness of her techniques to relieve pain and stress. Maria utilizes a variety of modalities during her treatments including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, joint mobilizations, remedial exercises, and deep tissue therapy. Maria has experience treating patients with chronic pain, especially Sciatica, low back pain, overuse conditions, whiplash, stress, anxiety, headaches, orthopedic and sport-related injuries. Maria has three years Europian experience, recently graduated in London, ON (2200 hr.s program) and is registered with the MTAA, Massage Therapist Association of Alberta. Maria is a real nature lover and likes the outdoors, hiking, biking, camping, and snowboarding. When she is not working, Maria loves to do activities with her two boys.

She always makes sure that patients are cared for and she will give you the best customer service experience. She is dedicated to creating innovative administrative support in the workplace.
