Evaluating Your Condition
To come up with your treatment program, a therapist will gather key information about your condition. Danielle Cyr - Massage Therapist
Danielle Cyr, graduated from Georgian College in 2009 and become registered later that year. She began working in a spa setting as well as at Quarry Ridge Physio the later that year. Although she enjoyed both settings she have in recent years started to put more focus on my clinical side of things. She enjoy seeing people walk from the office with less of a limp to their step, more movement and less pain.
Danielle Cyr, is a massage therapist because she believe that massage therapy can provide pain relief as an alternative to some medications for some conditions. She has taken a cupping cores to help with scar tissue and other connective tissue restrictions, as well as a hot stone cores for relaxation.
Outside of work she spend her spare time with her friends and family.
Jennifer Huffman - Physiotherapy Support Personnel
Jennifer Huffman – Kinesiologist
BKin, MSc, Registered Kinesiologist
Jennifer Huffman is a Registered Kinesiologist from Barrie, Ontario. She graduated from Brock University with a Master of Science with a specialization in Kinesiologyin 2009 and a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2007.
Jenniferis certified in medical compression hosiery, custom orthotics, and custom knee braces.
She believes in a functional approach to restore mobility and strength to improve clients’ well-being and quality of life.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities.
Christopher Cybulski - Acupuncturist
R.TCMP, R. Ac.
Registered with College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.A practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 14 years.Registered with most insurance companies and HCAI.
Chris graduated from the accredited International University of Alternative Medicine, graduating with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Moxibustion with honors. Chris is also a certified Auricular Therapist and a Body Talk practitioner. He also uses laser treatments to help people stop smoking.
Paul Love - Physiotherapist

Paul Love Graduated from Ben Gurion University of the Negev,Israel,1991. Head of Physiotherapy Department Poriyah Hospital,Israel. Clinic Director of Midland Physiotherapy 2003-2009,Clinic Director Barrie Physiotherapy,2009-present. Completed advanced levels of Bobath neurological rehab courses,vestibular rehab. course, numerous orthopaedic courses(see APTEI,”find a physiotherapist”for complete list.)ADP authorizer for mobility aids.
Carol Karastamatis - Physiotherapy Support Personnel
Carol graduated from the Occupational Therapist Assistant & Physiotherapist Assistant program from Georgian College in 2016. She also attended York University where she studied psychology and anthropology.
Carol has recently undertaking a NDT introductory course in the management of adults with stroke, brain injury, and other neuromotor disorders and has received a certificate in KT taping.
With a focus on stroke rehabilitation, Carol continues to increase her repertoire on management strategies for clients with hemiplegia.
In her spare time, Carol works to assist people at the YMCA to achieve their fitness goals, raises two children and a husband, and enjoys hiking with her dog…alone.
Lori Milne - Physiotherapy Support Personnel
In 2015 Lori graduated from York University with a BA Honours Degree with a double major in Kinesiology and Psychology. She has bee working at the ptHealth clinic in Midland since the fall of 2015. Lori has worked at the Barrie clinic when needed as well.
Lori feels that getiing and keeping our population healthy and moving as we all age will benefit our overall health. She uses her knowledge to help her patients while working at ptHealth. She also volunteers at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie.
Lori grew up just outside of Orillia and currently live in Barrie with her daughters. In the winter she enjoys skiing and teaches downhill skiing to children at a local resort. In the summer, Lori prefers to spend as much tome outdoors as possible, enjoying walks, camping and swimming with her family.
Tynisha Kendrick - Patient Coordinator
Tynisha Kendrick is originally from Guelph, ON. She graduated from Conestoga College in 2003. Her studies were focused on the electrical trade originally. After she moved to this area 10 years ago, she has been kept busy as the office scheduling coordinator for an electrical company. Tynisha joined Quarry Ridge Physiotherapy in January 2017 as the Patient Coordinator. In her spare time she is a busy mom of 5, enjoys walking her dogs and gardening with her husband.
Laura Jackson - Physiotherapist
Laura is a Registered Physiotherapist who grew up in Barrie. Laura has enjoyed a career in Brain Injury Rehabilitation and achieved a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Carleton University (2009) and a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University (2015). She has been working at Quarry Ridge Physiotherapy since 2015.
Her physiotherapy experience includes working in the hospital setting with stroke, cardiac, acute trauma, spinal cord injury and post-op populations. She has also lead a community program providing education and physical activity guidance to groups of people with chronic health conditions.
Laura has additional certification in Level 1 Orthopedic Manual Therapy. She is committed to life-long learning, having taken courses on biomechanics, lower extremity rehabilitation, soft tissue mobilization, brace fitting, taping techniques and manual therapy for the spine. Laura is working towards becoming an Impact Certified PT for concussion therapy.
