Diana attended McMaster University in Ontario and completed her Bachelor of Physical Education in 1991, and her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy in 1994. She worked in the United States for six years as a travelling therapist doing general occupational therapy before attending Texas Woman’s University in Houston for a hand therapy fellowship in April 1999. She moved to Vancouver in 1999 and started working in Surrey at the Guildford Physiotherapy and Hand Injury Clinic, treating traumatic and post-surgical hand, wrist and elbow injuries from August 1999 to June 2009. Diana wrote and passed her CHT exam in November 1999, and she has been a Certified Hand Therapist ever since. She moved to Sydney, Australia in August 2009 and started working at the North Shore Hand Injury Clinic in St Leonards, a suburb of Sydney, treating hand, wrist and elbow injuries in the pediatric and adult population. She returned to Vancouver in 2014 and started working for PT Health in April, first at their Burnaby location before switching to her current position at the Richmond location. She also works at VGH in a casual position in the outpatient hand therapy department.

Diana has most recently completed both the Arthritis Society’s Getting a Grip on Arthritis® osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis education program.
