Leanne is a 2018 graduate of West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Her passion of working with people along with years of weightlifting experience and rehabbing her own injuries made the choice of being an RMT a fulfilling career for her.
She believes that every patient is unique and responds to types of modalities used in treatments differently, therefor develops treatment plans specific to each individual patient to optimize their goals. She works with patients to help speed the recovery process from acute and chronic injuries, conditions, to aid in relieving stress, improve posture, optimize sports performance and also for the maintenance of good health. She treats a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions, but also treats many neurological conditions.

Throughout school, she was very fortunate to have had the opportunity of working with a variety of patients at outreaches such as the Multiple Sclerosis In-Reach, SPEC In-Reach (Parkinsons, Cerebral Palsy, etc), with the UBC Varsity Team, BC Women’s Hospital, and Pre/Post Natal In-Reach.

Her practice focuses on Swedish massage, trigger point release, IASTM, myofascial release, neuromuscular techniques, stretching, and often the use of hydrotherapy, depending on each individuals needs, how their body responds, and the patients preferences. Her treatments are therapeutic yet relaxing.

In Leanne’s free time, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, going to the gym, cooking and volunteering
