Sarah Bird was born in Happy Valley, Goose Bay, NL, where she lived until she graduated high school in 2006.
Sarah attended the University of New Brunswick from 2006 until 2010, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. After graduating from UNB, Sarah was accepted into the Physiotherapy program at Dalhousie University. After receiving her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy, Sarah began working in the public health care system working in areas of Cardio-Respiratory, Medicine and Surgery, Cancer care and Orthopedics, including Intensive Care and Intermediate Care.
Sarah joined the pt Health team in 2015 doing outpatient orthopedics. She hopes to expand her outpatient care knowledge to include Acupuncture and to improve her skills in exercise prescription.
Sarah has most recently completed both the Arthritis Society’s Getting a Grip on Arthritis® osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis education program.
