Physiotherapist - MScPT, BSc. KinSpeaks: EnglishKayla was born and raised in Northumberland County and has been working as a Physiotherapist for the past year and a half. She graduated in 2018 from Queen's University for her Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Having previously studied at McMaster University, earning her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. Now, as a resident of Brighton she is excited to serve her local community! She is passionate about working together with her clients to help them achieve their goals. She incorporates modalities, education, exercise, and manual therapy within sessions to reduce pain and improve function. Outside of the clinic, Kayla enjoys playing fastpitch and camping with her friends and family.Melanie Jesse
Physiotherapy Support PersonnelSpeaks: EnglishMelanie Jesse PSP - Mel has worked at PT health Trenton and Brighton locations for more then 16 years. Her duties have primarily consisted of direct patient care on the clinical side treating all types of orthopeadic conditions, but she is also proficient on the administrative side. Melanie is always knowledgeable, inviting, and is a pleasure to work with on our team.Kimberley Harding
Massage Therapist - RMTSpeaks: EnglishKim graduated from Trillium College in 2015 with her diploma in Massage Therapy. Prior to this Kim graduate from Trent University with an H.BA joint major in Psychology and Women's Studies. Kim enjoys working with people and truly loves being a massage therapist. She has experience with pregnancy massage, treating sciatica, TMJ dysfunction, whiplash associated disorders and many other things. If you are in need of a massage or even just curious about it Kim would be happy to help you. Kim has most recently completed both the Arthritis Society's Getting a Grip on Arthritis® osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis education program.Deborah Quinn
Patient CoordinatorSpeaks: English, GermanDeb has been a member of the team for close to 23 yrs. She has an enormous amount of experience as it relates to all things rehabilitation. She is responsible for all booking, billing, and patient communication. She is a valuable employee and integral piece of our administrative and clinical teams. She comes to work every day with the goal to improve people’s days and to make herself available to her patients in whatever manner they require. Admin / ManagerSpeaks: EnglishJenny graduated from the Business Administration program at Fleming College with a major in Marketing. Shortly after graduation, she joined pt Health and has loved every minute of it. She's since taken a new role of Administrative Team Lead where her passion for financial health has expanded into leading 13 clinics in Ontario. Massage TherapistSpeaks: EnglishNicole Goodmurphy RMT - Nicole graduated from Sir Sanford Fleming College in 2008. She utilizes a combination of Swedish Massage, hydrotherapy, and remedial exercise in the management of her patients which include orthopaedics, motor vehicle accidents, work related injuries as well as relaxation therapy. While she has a special interest in treating orthopedic, and sport related injuries she also enjoys managing prenatal massage clients in her practice.Brijya Patel
PhysiotherapistSpeaks: EnglishBrijya, a passionate and self driven Resident Physiotherapist, graduated in 2017 from Gujrat university, India. She has experience working at different Long Term Care HOMES. She takes pride in her ability to connect with clients and help them reach their desired goals and improve their quality of life by reducing pain. She incorporates different modalities, techniques and exercises in treatment plans to get the best outcome measures possible. She has a special interest in treating conditions related to shoulder, knee, hip and other muscles pathology. She is continuously looking to enhance her skills and grow as a practitioner. She loves travelling and exploring new places with friends.
